Last week Horizon received a significant Series A funding of $40 Million from Brevan Howard Digital and Morgan Creek Digital. Its founder Peter Kieltyka said the funding will go into growing Horizon’s fully remote talent with an emphasis on their marketing and business development teams.

The London-based company counts on the support, and funding, of high-profile tech founders like Slack’s Stewart Butterfield and Shopify’s Tobias Lütke. This last startup funding rounds was a $14 Million investment led by Lachy Groom. Humaans will use the funding to expand its presence in Europe and develop the product further.
Talent management is a growing area of interest for tech, especially as teams move to remote-led workflows, Humaans is enabling companies to adapt to the future of work.

The Pittsburgh robotics supply chain company received a Series A funding of $10 Million led by Tribeca Venture Partners. Gather AI plans to continue developing its real-time inventory capabilities and go-to-market strategy.
We are keeping a close watch on this sector and Gather AI is the latest VC vote of confidence for an organisation automating the Supply Chain.

California-based Loop offers end-to-end Electric Vehicle charging hardware and software solutions, designed to simplify EV adoption for you and I. The green tech company has announced a Series A investment round of $40 Million led by Fifth Wall, plus an additional $20 Million for operational growth.
As the concerns for fossil fuel use increase so must the infrastructure and incentives to change to greener alternatives. Companies like Loop and Denmark’s Monta have an essential part to play in the EV ecosystem enabling growth and adoption.

Revelio Labs offer in-depth workforce analytics powered by data and AI technology to help employers leverage their teams’ skills. New York-based Revelio raised $19 Million in Series A funding and will put this to use by further evolving its strategic HR-led software solutions.
The company has an impressive client list, including the US Federal Reserve, Harvard Business School and MIT as clients. We expect to see a continued interest in this type of insight-driven talent tech with trends like the great resignation and remote-led working principles continuing to shape the global talent market.

The Spanish company already received Series-A funding of $29 Million with international participation from DC-based Paladin Capital and Madrid’s Swanlaab Venture Factory. IriusRisk is already international with teams in Spain, the UK and the US.
Iriusrisk is building its own brand by helping others build products in a compliant way. The company intends to use the latest startup funding rounds to keep expanding in the US and Europe.

Tines is a no-code automation platform designed to provide enterprise solutions to help security and operational teams to automate manual workloads.
Last week Tinus received significant backing from VC fund Felicis and other existing partners with a Series B funding of $55 Million. The funds will go to increasing its go-to-market actions, developing the platform and seeking partnership alliances.
Dublin-based, the company is fully remote and will look to grow the team behind its existing success in both European and North American time zones.
