Every week we highlight new funding successes from companies bringing about change in their industries.  We amplify the voice of companies delivering on tech innovation whilst also utilizing remote work, or being clear on the importance of D&I to their brand. All ingredients that talent.ai focus on when selecting the best of the last 7 days.

We see these journeys as an inspiration, offering insights to other founders, startups and innovators looking to evolve their stories into something extraordinary.  We know the hard work behind these accomplishments and always seek to recognise and applaud those involved from leadership and founders and their entire teams.

Congratulations to all the founders and teams!

Calypso AI is a security startup focusing on helping companies adopt AI and Machine Learning to safeguard themselves against ML attacks. Its software is designed to monitor, assess and test against threats in internal and external AI tools before they deploy.

San Francisco-based Calypso AI is biting off a big task but just got a show of confidence from investors. The company secured a $23 Million Series A funding round led by Paladin Capital Group with participation from other funds, and big-name angel investors like former YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki.

The company will use new funds to further its product development, increase headcount and market initiatives. AI’s quick takeover is now a part of almost all industries but as companies race to use it to their advantage fears also rise over potential security risks and privacy. Calypso AI is primed to take a great spot in the AI boom!

Prague-based Resistant AI secured an extended Series A investment round of $11 Million led by Notion Capital last week. This brings its total Series A round to $27.6 million with previous investments coming from Index Ventures, GV, Seedcamp, and Credo Ventures.

The new funding comes after an incredibly successful year for the company where its clients nearly doubled. Fintech security is a huge industry that is growing even faster in the age of AI. With new threats coming constantly and the need to create security responses on the same level. All of which makes Resitant AI a safe bet for growth!
